After you click the "Non-Fiction Proposal" icon on the Dashboard, you will be taken directly into the Proposal Wizard. There you will see the Proposal Outline in green on the left and below that, each section of the proposal that needs to be completed. On top you will have 4 tabs: one for Summary, one for Instructions, one for Example and one for Tips. The information for the Instructions and Examples changes each time you click on a new section of the proposal outline on the left. It is a good idea to read through the Summary and Tips first, then go back to it later as needed. You should then read the Instructions and Examples for all sections of the proposal at least once before getting started.

After reading through the Instructions and Examples for each section of the outline, simply select the section that you would like to begin with and start typing your information into the editor below the Instructions. After you are done with each section or at any point while working, click the "Save" button located at the bottom of the editor. You must click save at the end of every section before moving on to a new section. After your work has been saved, a green check mark will appear next to the section of the outline. Continue this until each section of the proposal is complete. Anytime you are unsure of what to do for a section, go back to the Instructions or Examples tab at the top of the page.

Once your book proposal is complete, click the "Preview" and "Download" button on the left-hand side.
